For launches, shops and side projects

Something's coming. Say so, today.

Say what it is and when. You get a page that holds the address, counts down to the date, and collects the people who want to hear about it.

1

What's launching, and when?

The name, one sentence on what it is, the date if you have one, and whether you want people to leave an email. Say the mood you're after.

Or start from one of these:
  • Give the launch date, or say 'soon'
  • Say if you want an email sign-up
  • Name the mood: bold, calm, mysterious

Pick a look

Two quick choices — skip them and we'll decide for you. Change any of it later.

Copy it, then bring back the reply

One tap copies everything. Paste it into an AI, then drop what it gives you back below.

Then open one of these and paste it in. All of them are free.
Paste the AI's reply here All of it, or just the code block. We'll sort out the rest.
4

Try it, name it, put it online

This is your real page, running. Have a play before anyone else sees it.

Why put something up now

An address with nothing on it is a lost visitor

People will find the name before the real thing exists: from a flyer, a post, a friend. A holding page turns that into a countdown and a sign-up instead of an error.

A date people can feel

A countdown does more than a paragraph. It says this is real, it is soon, and it is worth coming back for.

Sign-ups that come to you

An email box that posts to your Messages panel, with a CSV export for the day you send the launch note.

The same address, later

When the real site is ready it replaces this one at the same address. Every link you shared keeps working.

What to put on it

One screen, four things

A holding page is judged in three seconds. Everything below fits one phone screen; anything more is for the real site.

  1. The name, large

Set in a typeface that suits what it is. This is the first time most people will see it written down.

  2. One line on what it is

Not a paragraph. "Small-batch coffee, roasted here, from March." People can wait for the rest.

  3. The date, or the countdown

If you have a date, count to it. If you don't, say "soon" and mean it. Never a countdown to a guess.

  4. A way to hear about it

One email box, one button. The list you build here is the launch-day audience.

Ask for a proper title and description. The page will be shared as a link before it is visited, and the preview card is what people see first.

Questions

Asked and answered

Where do the email sign-ups go?

To the Messages panel in your editor, with a CSV export. Claim the page with a free account to read them; the free plan reads 50 a month, paid plans unlimited.

Can I replace it with the real site later?

Yes. The page is yours to change: rebuild it from a new description, add pages, or paste in a whole new site. The address stays the same, so every link you shared keeps working.

Can I use my own domain?

On a paid plan, yes: point the domain at clickto and the certificate and hosting are handled. On the free plan it lives at a name you choose ending in .clickto.app.

Does the countdown use the visitor's time zone?

It counts to the moment you give, and the AI is told to handle the time zone properly. Say the time zone in your description if the exact hour matters, for example 'launching 9am New York time'.

Can it have a video or a photo behind the text?

Yes. Ask for a background photo and it uses a placeholder you can swap for your own; a looping muted video works too if you link to one.
