For cafes, bars and food trucks

Your menu, readable on a phone.

Not a PDF nobody can pinch-zoom. A real page with your sections, your prices, and a number they can tap.

1

What's on the menu?

Name the place, the sections and roughly what's in them. Paste an existing menu straight in here if you have one, prices and all.

The thing to stop doing

A PDF menu is costing you customers

It is the single most common mistake on a restaurant website, and it fails in the exact moment somebody was deciding where to eat.

A PDF or a photo

What most restaurant sites still link to.

  • Opens tiny, needs pinching and zooming
  • Downloads instead of opening on some phones
  • Search engines read almost nothing from it
  • One price change means re-exporting the file
  • Unreadable to a screen reader
Designed for A4 paper, opened on a 6-inch screen.
A real menu page

Text on a page, laid out for a phone.

  • Readable the second it opens, no zooming
  • Dish names and prices a search engine can read
  • Change a price by clicking it
  • Dietary labels people can actually scan for
  • A phone number that dials from the page
Same information. Reaches roughly everybody instead of some people.

Already have the menu typed somewhere? Paste the whole thing into step 1, prices and all. It gets laid out rather than rewritten.

Beyond the food

The three things people check next

Are you open now?

Hours per day, laid out plainly. It is the question behind a large share of the calls you take during service.

Where exactly are you?

The address as text plus a map link, so one tap opens their maps app with directions already running.

Can I book right now?

A tap-to-call number, and a link to whichever booking service you already use. Both work without a server.

Questions

Asked and answered

Why not just upload a PDF menu?

Because a PDF is unreadable on a phone without pinching and zooming, and search engines get very little out of it. A real page is readable, findable, and you can change one price without re-exporting anything.

Can I show photos of the dishes?

Yes, once you claim the site with a free account and upload them. It publishes with placeholders so the layout is finished before you have the photos ready.

How do I change a price?

Click the price on the page and type the new one, then publish again. No developer, no waiting.

Can people order or book through it?

Not directly, since there is no server behind these pages. A tap-to-call number works well, and you can link out to whichever ordering or booking service you already use.

Will it show up when people search for my restaurant?

It can. A real text menu on its own address is exactly what a search engine can read, which a PDF or a photo of a menu is not. Adding your own domain helps further.
